Ford, Sterling dealer names T.O. sales manager
TORONTO — Thorncrest Sherway Inc. has appointed Ray Marshall commercial general sales manager for Thorncrest Ford, Sherway Ford Trucks, and Sterling Trucks of Toronto.
Thorncrest Ford has been in the Ford commercial truck business since 1971. It amalgamated with Sherway Ford Trucks in 1985 and relocated to its current location at 1575 The Queensway in Toronto. Thorncrest Sherway then started Sterling Trucks of Toronto in 1997 to bring brand recognition to the Sterling Truck business.
In his new position, Marshall will be responsible for commercial truck sales for all three locations. He brings with him 41 years in the trucking industry — 24 with the Cummins distributor in Toronto and 17 years in commercial trucks with Tower Ford Truck Sales, as well as Ontario Sterling and Harper Ontario Truck Centres as general sales manager.
