Former Kingsway, CTA president passes away

TORONTO — He shared an iconic name and had a reputation to match in the Canadian trucking industry.

John F. Kennedy, past president of the Kingsway Group of Companies, the Ontario Trucking Association as well as the Canadian Trucking Alliance, passed away last week with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was 83.

He is survived by his wife Marlene.

One of the respected industry advocates ever in the Canadian trucking industry, John also served as President of the Motor Transport Industrial Relations Bureau.
