Former OTA board member passes away

TORONTO, Ont. – Former Ontario Trucking Association board member, Ivan Service of Atripco Delivery Service, passed away in his sleep this weekend at the age of 92.

Service was a Steward at the Kingsway-Lambton United Church for many years and will be remembered by the OTA for his contributions to the community as well “for the strongest bear hugs a kid could ask for.”

Family and friends of Service are welcome at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor St. W) on Thursday November 13 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The memorial service will be held at Kingsway-Lambton United Church (85 The Kingsway) on Friday November 14 at 11 a.m. followed by his internment at Park Lawn Cemetery.
