Former Rentway president to head Procor
OAKVILLE, Ont. (Sept. 6, 2001) — Ron Waye, former president of Rentway Ltd., has been named president of Procor Ltd., Canada’s largest lessor of specialized railway tank and freight cars.
Previously a division of Trimac Corp., Rentway was Canada’s largest full-service truck lessor and fleet management company. Last year it was sold to Penske Truck Leasing Co. for $105 million. Waye had been president of Rentway for 10 years.
Procor has a fleet in excess of 22,000 cars and employs 700 people. The corporate office and manufacturing facility are located in Oakville, Ont.
