Four Canadian companies honored by Freightliner

PORTLAND, Ore. — Four Canadian suppliers have made the cut as Freightliner 2003 Masters of Quality.

The annual recognition goes to companies who meet the highest standards of quality in providing parts and components for Freightliner, Sterling, Western Star, American LaFrance and Thomas Built Buses.
It is the highest distinction given to Freightliner suppliers.

The four Canadian companies included in the list of 40 suppliers and 62 individual facilities who are being recognized are the following: Accuride Corporation, based in London, Ont.; Marine Plastics Ltd., based in Langley, B.C.; Flexalloy Inc., based in St. Thomas, Ont.; and Fontaine Fifth Wheel of Canada, based in Mississauga, Ont..

Accuride Corporation, Marine Plastics Ltd., and Flexalloy Inc. are being recognized by Freightliner for the 13 consecutive year. Fontaine Fifth Wheel of Canada is being recognized for the first time.
