Fredericton police hunting for speeders
FREDERICTON, N.B. — The Fredericton Police Force announced yesterday it will be taking extra measures to combat speeding and other traffic related violations by drivers in the city.
There will be less leniency in terms of warnings, said Cpl. Leanne Fitch, the force’s media relations officer.
The crackdown is in response to public concerns. It will take effect immediately and is expected to last six weeks.
