SAINT, N.B. — Universal Truck and Trailer (UTT) has been awarded “Gold” status by Freightliner for excellence in processing warranty claims. Officials said the award recognizes UTT’s capability to accurately and efficiently process warranty claims, adding that only 7% of the dealers in North America achieve this status.

“We know that processing warranty claims effectively is a key requirement for our customers and we have worked diligently to implement processes and training to allow our outstanding service team to achieve this accomplishment.” said Matthew Kilfoil, general manager of UTT. “We want our customers to see us as the best choice for every aspect of their business and they now can have confidence that no one will process warranties for them better than Universal Truck and Trailer.”

“Universal Truck and Trailer is a key dealership of ours and we are delighted to see them achieve this award that points to their focus on customer service and warranty excellence,” noted Brad Thiessen, vice-president and Canadian region general manager for Freightliner. “Congratulations to the entire team. Service capabilities like this combined with products like our new 2008 Cascadia, the most aerodynamic truck available in the industry, are what sets our dealerships apart in the marketplace.”
