PORTLAND, Ore. — Freightliner Trucks announced recently the launch of www.freightlinertruckstore.com, an online shopping center which offers Freightliner Trucks merchandise to consumers.

This new eStore is an offshoot of the company’s well-established employee and dealer online merchandise store.

Freightliner Trucks’ new eStore allows customers to view the entire line of Freightliner Trucks merchandise in a user-friendly web environment. Additionally, a simple, on-line ordering process allows customers to order directly from the internet.

“With our prevalence in the heavy- and medium-duty truck markets, the Freightliner Trucks brand has, over the years, become a true icon on North American highways,” said Bruce Smalley, general manager, marketing and strategy, Freightliner Trucks. “As a result, there is tremendous interest in our brand, not only in the trucking industry, but in the general public as well.”

The new Freightliner Trucks eStore features a variety of exciting products. From apparel and gifts to collectibles and racing items, the new eStore is a fully interactive, secure shopping experience hosted by Overland Park, Kansas-based American Identity, Freightliner Trucks’ promotional products supplier.

“We anticipate that Freightliner Trucks’ strong base of customers, as well as the fans of the various race teams which are sponsored by Freightliner Trucks, will enjoy the opportunity to identify with the Freightliner Trucks brand through the promotional products offered on this Web site,” said Howard
Trilling, vice-president of marketing for American Identity. “We’re pleased to be working with Freightliner Trucks on this new eStore initiative.”
