Freightliner wins J.D. Power award for vocational trucks

PORTLAND, Ore. — Freightliner has ranked highest in the vocational products category of the J.D. Power and Associates 2009 Heavy-Duty Truck Customer Satisfaction Study.

 

Freightliner topped the ‘Highest in Customer Satisfaction among Vocational Segment Class 8 Trucks’ category. The award measured criteria such as performance, quality, warranty and cost of ownership.

 

“Freightliner Trucks has a long tradition of developing cutting-edge products for the vocational market, and this recognition demonstrates that we are meeting the demands of those customers,” said Melissa Clausen, director of product marketing for Freightliner Trucks. “Over the course of the next several months, we will introduce several new and enhanced products specifically for vocational applications, continuing our commitment to helping customers Run Smart at every turn, in every segment of the business.”
