FREDERICTON, N.B. — The federal and provincial governments are expected to announce joint funding of $10 million for twinning of a two-kilometre stretch of Hwy. 7.

The highway will receive attention between the Doak Road and Vanier Industrial Drive area, according to reports.

The feds will be paying for half the tab while the rest will be covered by the province, hints Fredericton Liberal MP Andy Scott.

"It’s an important piece of the transportation puzzle here in Fredericton," says Scott.
