DALLAS, Tex. — The new Shell Rotella T heavy-duty engine oil is being packaged in a new bottle, which features an ergonomic design aimed at making it easier to handle and pour.

Shell unveiled the new look during the Great American Trucking Show (GATS) in Dallas on Aug. 24.

The new bottle features two handles. The top handle on the new Shell Rotella T bottle makes carrying easier, while the side handle aims to make pouring easier and more comfortable.

The distinctive new bottle for Shell Rotella T with Triple Protection is a great look that reflects the advanced technology of the motor oil inside, said Patty Lanning, heavy-duty engine oil brand manager with Shell Lubricants. We believe customers will appreciate that weve designed a bottle that is easier to use and recycle.

Another consideration of the new bottle design was the environment. The new bottle uses less plastic and no longer includes a foil seal, making it convenient to recycle.

Shell Lubricants has also introduced a new 3 in 1 case which offers three one-gallon bottles in one case for easier pick-up and handling. The new case also makes storage and will be released for customers this September.
