WAYNE, Pa. — GE Equipment Services and Innovative Computing Corporation have agreed to integrate GE’s VeriWise Asset Intelligence system a virtual “brain” developed for truck trailers with the dispatch module of Innovative Enterprise Software.

The integrated package is expected to be available in the second half of 2006 upon successful completion of beta testing.

GE recently celebrated the third anniversary of the launch of the VeriWise system, which consists of a fully protected, trailer-mounted transceiver, a discreet antenna, and a patented power management system.

Earlier this year, GE announced an order to equip Wal-Mart’s entire 46,000 trailer fleet with VeriWise, which when completed this year will bring the total installed base to 75,000 units.

Working with mobile installation and deployment specialists, Velociti, GE has been cranking out the units at a record rate. The first 7,200 were installed at 14 sites in 12 states at a record rate of 514 per day.
