Get Hooked Up with new industry newsletter from Truck News

TORONTO, Ont. — Truck News editor James Menzies is launching a new bi-weekly industry newsletter designed to provide commentary and analysis on the the news, equipment, management, maintenance and community issues you care about – all in a quick-hit format.

 

The inaugural edition of Hooked Up was e-mailed this afternoon to Trucknews.com Headline News e-alert subscribers. Future editions of the newsletter will be distributed electronicaly to subscribers every two weeks.

 

Today’s version included briefs on: CSA 2010; driving impressions on the Eaton UltraShift Plus transmission; fleet reactions to EPA2010 emissions requirements; and a look at how one B.C. fleet is giving back to its community. The newsletter also includes insightful and colourful quotes from key industry personalities and finally an up-to-date listing of used equipment for sale.

 

“The goal with Hooked Up is to provide readers, whether they be drivers, fleet managers, technicians or industry suppliers, with the information they require in an informal and timely manner,” said James Menzies, Truck News executive editor and the voice behind Hooked Up.
