TORONTO, Ont. — This year’s National Trucking Week is to be held Sept. 6 through 12.

The annual event recognizes the 400,000 some women and men who keep the country’s freight moving.

The week also serves as a platform for the trucking industry to deliver road-sharing information to other road users.

To celebrate, the Ontario Trucking Association will be holding a series of road sharing demonstrations and publishing its own supplement to be distributed in some Ontario newspapers.

For ideas on how to celebrate, visit the Canadian trucking Alliance Web site at www.cantruck.com, look under What’s New and click on the event logo.
