NSI Global’s Vistar Datacom subsidiary will integerate its GlobalWave satellite communications system with Maddocks Systems’ fleet management software, allowing truck fleets to be remotely monitored, managed, and controlled via the Maddocks TruckMate (TM4Win) software interface.

Cancom Tracking, a Canadian reseller of Vistar’s GlobalWave product, is currently working with both companies to integrate the products, said Mike Ham, vice-president of Cancom. “The integration will help fleet operators to improve operational efficiencies, reduce costs and allow all systems to tie in seamlessly,” he said.

Maddocks TruckMate is an enterprise-wide, user-friendly software solution for mid-sized to large trucking companies that offers single-point billing entry, point-and-click dispatching, mobile communications, integrated accounting, and complete management reports. The software enables fleet managers to tailor the solution to fit their mode of trucking.
