GRAND FALLS, N.B. — The province has announced a $2-million agreement with the Town of Grand Falls to expand the Madawaska Road in town.

Transportation Minister, Percy Mockler, announced the Transportation Department will provide up to $1 million to assist the town in turning the two-lane road into a four-lane.

The province and the town have agreed to share the $2-million cost, each contributing $200,000 to the project every year for the next five years.
