Great Dane shuffles exec deck

SAVANNAH, Ga. — Great Dane Trailers announced the reorganization of the company’s management structure as it transitions form retiring president Phill Pines.

Jim Pines, executive vice president, Sales and Operations, will continue to oversee all sales activities, including factory direct sales, retail sales, aftermarket parts and service and used trailers, as well as Great Dane’s manufacturing operations.

Rick Mullininx has been promoted to executive vice president, Engineering. He will oversee Great Dane’s entire Engineering and Product Development organization.

Dean Engelage joins the Great Dane team as executive vice president, Strategic Planning and Administration, after spending more than 15 years with CC Industries, Great Dane’s parent company.

His responsibilities will include directing business development, marketing, management information systems, human resources, and Johnson Refrigerated Truck Bodies.

Jim Petrarca, chief financial officer, will continue to oversee all of the company’s finance and accounting activities.

All four will report directly to Bill Crown, president and chief executive officer.
