Greg Munden to serve as BCTA chairperson

LANGLEY, B.C. –The B.C. Trucking Association (BCTA) has elected a new board of directors for the 2012-2013 term.

Greg Munden of Kamloops-based Munden Ventures has been named chairman of the association. Murray Scadeng of Triton Transport moves into the past chairperson role.

First vice-chair is Kevin Johnson of Coastal Pacific Xpress while Trevor Sawkins of Coldstar Freight Systems will serve as second vice-chair. Gerry Cullent of Western Star and Sterling Trucks of Vancouver is now secretary/treasurer and Michael Bennett of HUB International Insurance Brokers is associate division chairperson. Alternates include Ken Johnson of Ken Johnson Trucking and Greg Rogge off Clark Frieghtways.

The remaining directors include:
