COLUMBUS, Ohio — A fleet survey by CK Commercial Vehicle Research suggests trailer manufacturers will enjoy strong order activity through the end of the year.

Half of the fleets responding to the survey indicated they plan to place orders for new trailers before the end of 2010.

Of those expecting to order new trailers in the next six months, 68% were for-hire fleets. Private and government fleets were also included in the survey.

CK Commercial Vehicle Research is offering a 23-page report on the survey. For info on the 2010 Trailer Study, visit www.ckcvr.com.
