BRAMPTON, Ont. — Hankook Tire Canada has promoted two of its executives while expanding its operations.

William Hume has been promoted to vice-president of Hankook Tire Canada. He has been with Hankook since 2007.

“We are extremely pleased to announce the promotion,” announced Bryan Woo, president of Hankook Tire Canada. “Bill is an integral part of Hankook Tire Canada and his performance has been a contributing factor to our growth. We see a bright future with his continued support.”

Meanwhile, Jeff Bullock has been promoted to national sales operations director. Bullock is the longest-serving employee at Hankook Tire Canada and will now focus on further developing the company’s sales and distribution network, Hankook announced. Hankook has also expanded its sales force, adding Michael Flynn and Daryl Gray. Flynn will service Ontario-based customers while Gray will expand the company’s Truck Based Radial network.

Hankook has also introduced a new Web order system it says will enable dealers to meet customer demands more quickly.

“Thanks to our continued success, we felt the need to expand and continue to give our dealers the type of service they have come to expect from Hankook,” said Woo. “We believe it’s important to forge close relationships with our customers and give them the tools necessary to be successful. The online ordering system enables them to place orders quicker to help increase their bottom line.”
