TORONTO, Ont. — Harper Group has added the DEUTZ engine line to the Harper Power Products portfolio. Harper Power Products is now the sole distributor in Ontario for DEUTZ engines and will offer sales, parts and service through their existing network of six locations.

Harper’s range of industrial and commercial engine and transmission products already includes MTU, Mercedes-Benz, Detroit Diesel and Allison, which Harper officials say gives the company an “unrivalled” range of products to offer the Ontario marketplace.

“Our reputation for quality, customer service and extensive product knowledge are considerable assets that we have developed for many years,” says John Cosgrove, president and chief operating officer of Harper Power Products. “Our new agreement with DEUTZ will allow us to offer products and services unmatched by our competition.”

The DEUTZ name has a firm place in the world of equipment manufacturers and equipment operators and offers products for a wide variety of market segments from mining and construction to industrial and agricultural.

“DEUTZ has a solid history in the engine business, and their product aligns perfectly with Harper’s plans for growth through expanded offerings in existing markets,” said Steve Harper, co-chairman and CEO of Harper Group. “This addition strengthens our business and provides greater efficiencies for our customers.”
