Hendrickson makes HTIS-NG an option
n Hendrickson International has made its HTIS-NG central tire inflation system an option for its Intraax and Vantraax trailer suspensions. HTIS-NG taps the trailer air supply to maintain tire inflation up to a preset level. When the pressure drops below that pre-set threshold, the system alerts the driver and directs air to the offending tire. Constant air to the tires is not required, which is designed to reduce the burden on the rest of the trailer air system and prolong system life.
