Hendrickson opens up controls business

ITASCA, Ill. — Hendrickson Trailer Suspension Systems established a new business unit for pneumatic, mechanical and electronic controls with products including the TIREMAAX automatic tire inflation system.

Based near Hendrickson trailer in Canton and headed by Matt Wilson, controls business unit manager, the enterprise provides a greater focus for control products, says Perry Bahr, general manager of Hendrickson Trailer Suspension Systems.

“In addition to TIREMAAX, the unit manages products including a full line of trailer height control valves, lift axle controls, dump valves and many other suspension control systems,” Wilson notes. “Because of its nimble size, the new business unit will be able to better react to customer requirements.”

Wilson joined Hendrickson in 2005 as a program manager in the marketing group. Bringing more than 10 years experience in the heavy trucking industry, he formerly managed the vocational product line for Sterling Truck Corp.
