Higher airflow in a smaller package

Hendrickson says its new Lift Axle Air Control Kit is so compact it will fit in an open DIN slot in the dash. The new inside-mount air control kit is 7 1/4″ x 2 3/8,” making it the smallest self-contained unit on the market. It is also available in outside-the-cab version.

Designed and built for lift axles, the new design eliminates 15 compression fittings, therefore reducing system leak potential and reducing installation time. The company says it provides airflow of 31.7 cfm, which is a 68% improvement from the current system. Higher airflow provides faster axle response when air controls are activated.

The outside-the-cab air kits are self-contained and include a stainless steel mounting box. Center consoles are available for all inside-the-cab air kits. The kit also comes with a three-year warranty which includes parts and labor for the first year and parts only for the second and third.
