Holland Group announces management changes

HOLLAND, Mich. — The Holland Group has announced several changes to its management team.

The Holland, Michigan-based manufacturer of commercial vehicle products has appointed Richard W. Muzzy, Jr. as Chairman of the Board of Directors. In addition Muzzy, formerly President and Chief Executive Officer of the Holland Group retains the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Samuel A. Martin, formerly Executive Vice President, now assumes the position of President and Chief Administrative Officer of the Holland Group.

Martin began his career with Holland Hitch Company, the predecessor of the Holland Group in 1974 as a metallurgical engineer. He was promoted to Executive Vice President of the Holland Group in 1999. In his position as Executive Vice President of the Holland Group, Mr. Martin led a successful effort to restructure the company during the 2001-2002 period.

A graduate of Lafayette College in Easton, PA with a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering, Mr. Martin received a Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering from The Ohio State University in 1971.
