Hyson Introduces Gas Springs

Brecksville, Ohio-based Hyson Products has introduced a line of lift strut/counterbalance nitrogen gas springs. Available with initial forces of 200 pounds to as high as 20,000 pounds, the springs perform either a pushing or pulling function and permit adjustment of the load balancing force. The company says the springs reduce load-hauling requirements in machinery and allow for smaller drive mechanisms and accelerated machine motion.
