KERANG, Australia — The Australian Trucking Association wants the Territory government to make rail level crossings for vehicles safer by painting trains a brighter color like pink.
“… bright pink or something or purple or whatever so they can be seen easily,” Australian Trucking Association CEO Peter Goed told local media.
The government announced 250 level crossings will be upgraded as a result of the rail crash near Kerang that killed 11 people earlier this month.
