IMMI and Volvo strap you in
IMMI
Westfield, Ind.-based IMMI, a leading manufacturer of commercial vehicle occupant safety systems, announced it will supply lap-shoulder seat belts systems for Volvo Trucks’ VN and VHD model trucks.
IMMI’s lap-shoulder seat belt systems are specifically designed for commercial vehicles to improve comfort, convenience and encourage seat belt usage for truck drivers, and features two components:
The first is Komfort Latch, a comfort component on the seat belt webbing above the driver’s shoulder that relieves seat belt pressure from the shoulder.
The second is the RLS 80 Retractor, which will lock the seat belt webbing during a crash, limiting movement of the driver and preventing ejection from the truck cab.
