INDUSTRY PULSE: Courier and messenger prices rise 2.8% in January
OTTAWA, Ont. — The Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index increased 2.8% in January due to annual price increases including higher fuel charges.<br>

The courier portion rose 2.8% while the local messenger component was unchanged.<br>

The CMSPI, published by Statistics Canada, is a monthly price index measuring the change over time in prices for courier and messenger services provided by long and short distance delivery companies to Canadian-based business clients. Its base year is 2003.<br>
