Intelligent Transportation Systems to be explored at seminar

CALGARY, Alta. — The Centre for Transportation Engineering and Planning (CTEP) and the Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (ITS) of Canada are hosting a seminar on ITS’ role in transportation.

The full-day seminar will take place Wednesday, Nov. 20 at the Radisson Hotel Calgary Airport, Skyline Room and will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There will be a wide range of speakers, including: Rod Thompson, Alberta Transportation; Brian Taylor, International Road Dynamics; Jim Little, Mullen Transportation; and Barry Davy, Trimac Transportation.

The seminar will explore ITS opportunities and the increasing role of technology on the transportation industry. CTEP and ITS members can attend for $195 while non-members may attend for a cost of $295. For more information, fax Karen Knoll-Williams at 403 282-7026.
