MIDLOTHIAN, Va. — Getloaded.com, an Internet load board for the transportation industry, is using Internet technology to help nearly 40,000 companies move more than 140,000 loads each day across Canada and the US.

As a result of the company’s growth, Getloaded.com is forming a new company to handle
business opportunities across the globe. This new company will research and develop new ways to apply Getloaded.com’s technology across different industries both domestically and internationally.

“The future is very bright for Getloaded.com. The formation of this new company allows us to build on our success and utilize Getloaded.com’s cutting-edge systems and technology both domestically and internationally,” said Charles Myers, current president of Getloaded.com.

Myers will assume the role as president of the new company on June 19. Assuming the role as president of Getloaded.com will be Bryan Jones who currently serves as vice-president of operations and has been with Getloaded.com for two years.

“Bryan has demonstrated vision, leadership and operational excellence,” said Myers. “Getloaded.com customers, suppliers and vendors can anticipate a seamless transition and the same focus on customer service that they have come to expect,” Myers also said.

Last year Getloaded.com recorded growth both in membership numbers and physical company size. This growth was fueled by a number of factors which included cutting-edge Web site enhancements, intense company marketing, a first rate customer service department and a “can do, will do” attitude by all of Getloaded.com’s associates, according to the company.

During 2005 the company achieved its highest revenue since the launch of the firm in 1999 and introduced the GLAuthority.com Web site to specifically handle trucking and broker authority needs.
