Intra hires quality professional

TUKWILA, Wash. — Intra Technologies has hired expert Dick Hecmanczuk to prepare the company for its advanced quality assurance standards.

Hecmanczuk joins the manufacturer of truck electrical power management products after serving in a number of quality management positions, including seven years with Paccar.

In his new role as quality manager, he will oversee the process of bringing the company’s locations in the U.S., Denmark and Sweden in compliance with international quality standards.

His first task will involve certifying the company to the new ISO TS16949 specification. All heavy truck and automotive manufacturers must meet these new standards by 2006.
