Hendrickson says its new INTRAAX AAZNT 46K gives flatbed trailer operators the weight savings and low-maintenance advantages of an integrated air-ride suspension system. Plans call for the tandem platform slider with a 46,000-pound capacity to begin rolling off production lines this summer.

Drawing on patented INTRAAX tapered-beam technology, Hendrickson developed a platform slider system that delivers a durable and low maintenance air-ride package, which weighs substantially less than comparable mechanical suspensions.

Offered in ride heights from 13.5 to 17 inches, the AAZNT 46K features a combination of a smooth-sliding “Z” profile box and a tandem of the INTRAAX AANT 23K integrated suspension system. The slider box fits between the trailer I-beams, with lock-pins engaging through holes in the web of the beams.

The platform slider is designed to fit I-beam centers of 37, 38, 43 and 44 inches and can accommodate 49-, 60- and 72-inch axle spreads. A brake chamber activated by a push-pull valve powers the pin release mechanism.

A variety of options are available, including long-life wheel ends and extended service brakes, with ductile iron and aluminum hub products providing a selection of lightweight options. For more information click on the company’s website or call 866-RIDEAIR.
