TORONTO, Ont. — Trucknews.com has launched the industry’s first online job site specifically for non-driving trucking professionals.

Truckopolis features postings for trucking industry careers such as mechanics, dispatchers, customer service reps and salespeople. The Truckopolis page can be accessed by clicking the Truckopolis link in the ‘Careers’ section on the left hand side of the home page.

“Truckopolis is the latest addition in a long line of Web-based services designed just for you,” announced Truck News publisher, Rob Wilkins. “If you’re looking for a career in trucking, this should be your first stop.”

Companies in the trucking industry can post jobs and manage their own ads online. Job seekers can search the job postings by location and category and then submit their resumes via a user-friendly form.

“For employers looking for qualified applicants, using a Web-based service such as Truckopolis will give you the opportunity to fill positions quickly and economically,” Wilkins said. “No longer do you have to wait long lead times to receive resumes. Truckopolis will be working 24/7.”

Employers that register by Feb. 28 can post 10 FREE job ads between now and May 31.
