SASKATOON, Sask. — International Road Dynamics has received contracts from Brooks, Berry, Haynie & Associates to supply two new truck weigh station systems and upgrade an existing one in Georgia.

The project, valued at approximately $1.1 million, will be completed this year in Troup and Catoosa counties. IRD has previously supplied 10 similar systems at five locations in Georgia, six truck rollover warning systems at three locations in the state and have an ongoing contract for maintenance.

The new automated truck weigh station systems utilize IRD’s patented single load cell weigh-in-motion technology in combination with automatic vehicle identification technology to monitor a truck’s parameters.
