Irving Oil to open new N.B. truckstop
GRAND FALLS, N.B. (Oct. 29, 2004) — Irving Oil announced it plans to finish construction of a new Irving Big Stop at the north-most exit in Grand Falls, N.B. by April 2005.
Derek Cooling, Irving’s fleet sales manger, confirmed at the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association in Charlottetown that the full-service facility will have parking space for 75 trucks, and include a 150 seat resteraunt called the Back 40 Big Stop, desined to reflect the region’s agricultural strength.
The company’s network of retail stores throughout Eastern Canada and New England offers customers a wide variety of products and services, including grocery and snack items, bakeries, and convenience items, in addition to fuel.
