ITRA offers retread/repair video training

The International Tire & Rubber Association (ITRA) Foundation, has announced the completion of its Video Training Series for Tire Retreaders and Repairers. The program covers topics ranging from Basic Tire Construction to Nail Hole and Tube Repairing and Section Repairing.
Designed to enable retread, repair, fleet, sales and service organizations to conduct instruction at a place of their choosing, each of 13 videos in the Module Series features step by step procedures for performing jobs safely and professionally in a retread or repair facility.
The videos will soon include corresponding workbooks that include a post-test and skills
demonstration lab sheet that must be completed by the technician and signed by a member of the company’s management team. ITRA will issue a Certificate of Training to those who successfully complete the test and skills demonstration lab sheet.
The ITRA Video Training Series is available in its entirety , as suggested packages covering specific processes, or individually.
