LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Attendance was up at this year’s International Trucking Show (ITS) held in Las Vegas from June 27-29.

There were 14.25 per cent more truck operators registered at this year’s show, with an increase of 27,904 total registrations. In addition, there were more than 500 exhibitors on-hand at this year’s event.

“We are pleased with the numbers,” says Roger Sherrard, president of ITS Management. “In a market that has faced many challenges over the past few years and at a time when almost all trade shows in every market are down, we are pleased to report positive results. We have received some excellent comments and testimonials from this year’s exhibitors and are already receiving numerous commitments for 2003.”

Plans are already under way for next year’s show, being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from June 26-28. For more information, call 650-349-4017.
