Cole Hersee Co., a manufacturer of heavy-duty electrical and electronic products, introduced the Green ABS Socket, designed to protect against misconnecting the Anti-Lock Braking System CABS) between a truck and its trailer.
Green ABS- a standard seven-pole socket that matches the green ABS cable- provides a stand-alone circuit connection for a trailer’s ABS. The matching color safeguards drivers from inadvertently misconnecting the ABS plug into a different trailer socket, the company says.
