Jacobs Vehicle Systems to supply engine brakes for DaimlerChrysler

BLOOMFIELD, Conn. — Jacobs Vehicle Systems has been selected to supply Jake Brake engine brakes for DaimlerChrysler’s new commercial Vehicle engines.

The global platform will serve NAFTA, Europe, and Japanese markets.

“We are extremely pleased with the relationship between Jacobs Vehicle Systems and DaimlerChrylser,” said Dave Smith, vice president of engineering for Jacobs. “Working with DaimlerChrysler from the earliest stages has led to a benchmark product meeting all Voice of the Customer requirements.”
