Jeffrey Giannelli elected president of Transportation Safety Equipment Institute

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — Jeffrey Giannelli, vice-president of Cortina Tool and Molding, has been elected president of the Transportation Safety Equipment Institute (TSEI), a product line group of the Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA).

“I look forward to continuing the advancement of TSEI and building on our past accomplishments,” said Giannelli. “By promoting the development of performance standards and government/international regulations for the motor vehicle industry and by raising awareness for advanced driver information technologies, TSEI can help make our nation’s roadways safer.”

Other elected board members include:

Vice-president — Scot Tennant, director, sales and marketing, North American Signal Company;
Treasurer — Kristen Goodson, product manager, Peterson Manufacturing Company;
Director — Dominic Grote, vice-president, sales and marketing, Grote Industries;
Director — Brad Van Riper, senior vice-president and chief technology officer, Truck-Lite Company.
