KIRKLAND, Wash. — Participating Kenworth dealers are offering a 27-point inspection of air conditioning systems to help keep drivers cool come the summer months.

The Kenworth PremierCare Express Air Conditioning Service features a complete evacuation and recharge of the air conditioning system, receiver/drier replacement, up to five pounds of R134a refrigerant and compressor oil top-off.

“Kenworth PremierCare Express Air Conditioning gets trucks ready for hot weather and only takes about an hour,” said Dick Von Lehman, Kenworth PremierCare national sales manager for service. “During the comprehensive 27-point inspection, Kenworth dealer service technicians check the belts and hoses, discharge and suction lines, air conditioning air flow and controls, electrical connections, compressor, evaporator/heater coil, condenser coil, and look for refrigerant leaks, among other items. It’s a service that customers appreciate.”

The Kenworth PremierCare Program also offers preventive maintenance, ExpressLube and emergency roadside service.
