Kenworth offering new stylized aluminum wheel option
KIRKLAND, Wash. — Kenworth is introducing a new proprietary aluminum wheel with a unique and attractive hole pattern that makes valve stem access much easier.
The new Kenworth stylized wheel was designed specifically for Kenworth by Alcoa and is available for all Kenworth models.
“The Kenworth stylized wheel offers a fresh new look at lightweight wheels that will not only help contribute to reducing a truck’s overall weight but also dress up any rig,” says David Warren, Kenworth product marketing
manager. “It offers many useful features that fit the Kenworth reputation for image and fuel economy.”
The new wheel is available in 22.5-inch and 24.5-inch sizes, according to Mark Holtz, Alcoa’s commercial wheel marketing manager. “The Kenworth stylized wheel offers a hub pilot mounting system and a grooved center hub
bore that makes it easier for wheel removal,” says Holtz. “The wheel also features six slotted hand holes and ‘bevel around edging’ for easy handling and a modern look.”
