Kenworth’s World’s Best Meeting honors top performances

KIRKLAND, Wash. — Outstanding Kenworth dealer sales personnel from Canada and the U.S. were honored at Kenworth’s World’s Best Meeting recently in Orlando, Fla.

“We celebrated Kenworth’s truck salespeople and sales managers who achieved outstanding performance in serving and supporting customers in 2003,” said Gary Moore, Kenworth assistant general manager for sales and marketing. “We had 126 salespeople from the United States and Canada attend this year. They provide World’s Best customer satisfaction by working closely with customers to help meet their specific truck needs and applications. Their efforts, combined with Kenworth’s quality product offering, have contributed to strong growth in Kenworth’s new truck sales over the past year.”

The Top 10 Kenworth salespeople for 2003 were: Norm Gossett, GreatWest Kenworth; Glen Meuwissen, Rihm Kenworth; Tim Grace, Kenworth Sales Company; Dean Willerton, Custom Truck Sales; Terry Mannlein, MHC Kenworth – Denver; Jim Hawkins, MHC Kenworth – Kansas City; Ralph Campbell, MHC Kenworth – Oklahoma City; Colin Petrie, Bay Area Kenworth; Jeff McQuillan, MHC Kenworth – Kansas City; and John Kenney, Kenworth Mid-Iowa.

Top Kenworth sales managers for 2003 were Bob Bowden, MHC Kenworth – Dallas (represents all Texas locations); Harry Flint, GreatWest Kenworth; Gilles Robert, Edmonton Kenworth; Jim Niedringhaus, MHC Kenworth – Denver (represents all Colorado locations); and Mike Sullivan, Kenworth Mid-Iowa.

Dealer salespeople achieving Kenworth 200 Club status by selling 200 or more new Kenworth trucks in 2003 were Colin Petrie, Bay Area Kenworth; Ralph Campbell, MHC Kenworth – Oklahoma City; John Kenney, Kenworth Mid-Iowa; Jim Hawkins, MHC Kenworth – Kansas City; Terry Mannlein, MHC Kenworth – Denver; and Dean Willerton, Custom Truck Sales (Man.) Ltd.

Kenworth’s World’s Best Meeting also featured seminar sessions conducted by such key suppliers as Alcoa, Allison, Bendix, Bridgestone/Firestone, Caterpillar, Cummins, DuPont, Eaton, Hendrickson, Jost, and Pana-Pacific.
