TORONTO, Ont. — Kinedyne Canada has announced that it has made several key appointments and additions to its leadership and sales teams, according to company president Larry Harrison.

“In its 40th year, the company is experiencing outstanding growth and success in both the trucking and recreational industries,” he said. “With the contributions of our new appointments, Kinedyne will remain the premium choice for cargo control.”

Romolo Di Vito has been promoted to the newly-created position of operations manager for Kinedyne Canada.

As part of the new sales strategy for Kinedyne’s Cargo Control product line, the central region has been divided into two separate markets. Stephen DeRusett, previously the shipping team leader, is now responsible for northern Ontario accounts. Paul Hirst, a new member of the team with 25 years of sales experience in the trucking industry, is responsible for southern Ontario from Kingston to Windsor.

“The southern Ontario market is a densely populated competitive market that requires a lot more attention, in order to assist our clients in marketing to the fleets and owner operators,” said Harrison. “It also needed a more sophisticated business-minded representative like Paul to work with owners and branch managers on store setups, to best ensure high turns of cargo control inventory.”
