QUEBEC CITY, Que. — The municipality of Saint-Jrme is purchasing thirty TRS 1500 system units from Kolombo Technologies to equip part of its vehicle fleet.

“This agreement attests to the relevance and numerous benefits of Kolombo’s technology to the municipal sector. In addition to contributing towards public security, this type of agreement raises our profile in a market that is highly promising in both the short and long term,” said Martin Arsenault, president and CEO of Kolombo.

In accordance with a distribution agreement formed last winter, Detroit Diesel Allison Canada East (DDACE), one of the company’s major partners, will distribute the units. Jointly with Kolombo, DDACE is also responsible for after-sale service to clients.

“Kolombo has simply revolutionized the standards for heavy vehicle fleet security. The RF technology, which is adapted to all uses, prevents plagiarism that leads to vehicle and merchandise theft,” said Sacha Desfosss, chief of the Public Works Department for the City of Saint-Jrme.
