CALEDONIA, Ont. — KRTS Transportation Specialists has completed its first Trucking 101 program for trucking insurance providers, the company announced.

Pearson Dunn Insurance sent 14 of its insurance agents to a full-day course in Hamilton, Ont. on Dec. 18.

The program includes three modules: online; in-class; and in-truck, according to KRTS Transportation Specialists president, Kim Richardson.

“Trucking 101 will provide the commercial insurance professional with a well-rounded theory and practical education about the transportation industry and its relationship to the commercial side of the insurance business,” Richardson explained.

The next in-class portion of Trucking 101 is being offered Jan. 28 at the Marriott Courtyard in Toronto, Ont. near Dixon and Carlingview. The cost is $325 per person. For details, contact Roxanne at 800-771-8171, ext. 19.
