CALEDONIA, Ont. — KRTS Transportation Specialists and Thomas-Ritt Associates have teamed up to present a series of targeted leadership development seminars as part of the Excellence in Transportation Leadership Series.

Were very excited to bring this series of outstanding leadership development opportunities to the transportation industry, said Kim Richardson, president of KRTS. This is a tough business and companies can only be successful if they can bring outstanding customer service and innovation to their clients and the industry. That only happens with strong leadership.

The Excellence in Transportation Leadership Series covers a range of topics, with seminar titles including Leadership from the Inside Out, Performance Leadership, Effective Team Leadership, Leading Change and Project Leadership.

The latter uses principles contained in Thomas-Ritt Associates president Tom Stirrs book, Millers Bolt: A Modern Business Parable.

Our plan is to offer these leadership topics in public seminar formats as well as in-house for fleets, Stirr said. We appreciate the time pressures senior people are under so the content in our sessions will be very focused to maximize the potential ROI for our clients. We also have a number of development opportunities planned to assist fleets manage their employee retention better, and improve their sales and marketing results.
