Langley RCMP looking for Good Samaritan truck driver

by Truck West

LANGLEY, B.C. – Langley RCMP are looking for a man named Earl after the truck driver pulled over his semi to help an injured officer.

Labeled as one of two Good Samaritans, Earl stopped his truck the morning of Aug. 14 on Hwy 1 near the 232 Street overpass in Langley, B.C. after the RCMP officer’s vehicle was rear-ended at the scene of a rollover.

The Chilliwack Times reported that the officer suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision, but police declined to provide any update on the officer’s condition, citing privacy concerns.

Earl, who police say could have critical information regarding the incident, is said to have a tattoo on his right arm and drives a greyish-blue Volvo tractor-trailer with a silver logo on the door and was hauling a white 53’ refrigerated unit.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt. Patrick Davies at 604-539-2730.

RCMP released these pictures of Earl and his truck.
