Light Engineering lands EVI contract

Indianapolis, Ind. — Light Engineering, Inc. announced today that it has received a production contract from Electric Vehicles International (EVI).

EVI is a leading OEM electric vehicle producer. With the introduction of the LE technology, EVI can now begin offering both all-electric and series hybrid powered versions of its products.

The contract positions LE as the supplier of the primary diesel APU and the traction drive system for the medium duty commercial delivery vehicles and buses.
